I currently reside in Houston, Texas and am offering my tutoring services in the subjects of elementary math, statistics, reading, phonics, prealgebra, algebra 1, GRE, middle school math, psychology, mathematics, English, and social sciences. I attended Virginia State University where I acquired my master's degree and PhD in the subject of psychology. I also attended Prairie View A&M University where I acquired my bachelor's degree in biology. Before I decided to return to school to work on my graduate studies, I worked as a teacher at an elementary school. I worked with children in 5th and 1st grade while I worked as a teacher. I also was a substitute teacher for those in grades kindergarten through eight and I tutored on the side. While in college, I worked as an adjunct instructor for a stats course. I truly believe that each student has the potential to succeed in their academics. I am willing to put in the extra time and extra attention to work with students who are currently struggling in their studies. When I am not tutoring or teaching, I am usually traveling. I love exploring new places.
