Experience
In May of 2013, I graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I received my B.A. in Fine Arts. I have completed significant work in Elementary and Arts Education and have also graduated with several honors for my studio art accomplishments. I have received a number of scholarships and awards for my excellent scholastic achievement while studying. Beyond traditional academia, I also have completed my residencies at a number of different schools in the great city of Chicago. During my years of residency, I worked with students who were in the second, third, and fourth grades, where my main focus was on teaching them writing. I enjoy working with students of all ages, whether in larger groups or in a 1 on 1 environment. I particularly love helping students complete projects. This is both fulfilling and fun for me. I also try to make it fun for the student. I make sure to accommodate the needs of each and every individual child and have had plenty of experience working with students who have developmental disabilities. When I am not working as a tutor, I love putting together my very own art projects. I also enjoy cooking and reading in a variety of areas.
