Tutor, University of Texas Learning Center - Austin, TX (8/2007-5/2010) I tutored one-on-one in biology, chemistry, physics, organic chemistry, calculus, and genetics. I was trained to help incorporate important studying skills and goal setting into each tutoring session. Tutor, Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services – Austin, TX (3/2010-5/2010) I assisted a visually impaired student one-on-one to complete online courses needed for graduation. This included being a "reader" and assisting with a senior thesis. Tutor, Volunteers In Communities Tutoring Our Responsible Youth (VICTORY) - Austin, TX (1/2008-12/2009) I met weekly one on one with students, ranging from grades 1-12, at a library to work on school assignments and TAKS testing. We improved upon weaker skills shown to me on weekly progress reports.
