Experience
I have over two years of experience tutoring in a range of subjects, but my specialty is the humanities. I have a lot of experience in history, earning a B.A. in history with honors, and with the Spanish language--I studied abroad in Madrid and did graduate research in the field. I received an award for outstanding translation of Latin American poetry into English. I am also an excellent writer/proofreader and love communicating those skills to my clients. I go back to the basics to teach foundational essay-writing skills, from writing an outline and finding textual evidence to structuring an argumentative thesis-driven paper.
