I have tutored since I was in middle school. I have helped from elementary to graduate level. Most recent accomplishment was helping a graduate student increase his GMAT school by 120 points. I had relatively good test scores in both the SAT and ACT. I finished salutatorian in high with an unweighted GPA of 4.00. Though I want to become an eye doctor, I love math. My father was a math professor in my hometown and had me loving math for as long as I can remember. That is a part of why I love tutoring. My father helped me in math growing up and I wish to do the same to another student. I enjoy the moment when a student's confusion of a problem or subject dissolves and they have that light bulb experience.

Hobbies

I love being active and playing sports. I genuinely like most sports. My favorites are playing a pick up game with friends, running early in the morning and seeing the sunrise, or playing volleyball in the backyard with my family. I also enjoy watching sports almost as much as playing, especially the San Antonio Spurs and Pittsburgh Steelers. I love as well listening to almost any type of music and looking at art. Anything with friends is pleasurable too from just studying together or having a game night. I enjoy listening to people, those I do and do not know, talk about their life stories and their interests.
