Being junior engineering major I have had time use my math and science skills to solve complex engineering problems. This helped me refine my analytical skills as well as gave me different ways to understand what I have learned from my past math and science classes. With this I was able to find ways to implement my understanding into simple solutions that could be used to help fellow students as well as others in need of mathematical and scientific understanding. I found it better to use real world examples when explaining mathematical and scientific problems and I believe everyone should teach this way because implementation is key to understanding. Although certain individuals are not required to use math and science in certain scenarios in the real world, I believe that when the ability to solve math and science problems are refined then scenarios with non-STEM problems can be approached the same way, which will make problem solving a lot more efficient for the student.
