Education

I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2013 with a Chemical Engineering degree. I maintained a 3.6 GPA, and tutored throughout college. I currently work for an engineering company that requires me to apply several of the concepts that I learned in school. Through my job, I have attended dozens of training sessions given by industry experts in refining and chemical plants. These training sessions are somewhat relevant, depending on the subject. More importantly, I think people are more motivated to learn a concept if they know the intention of the course.

Experience

I tutored throughout my junior and senior year in college, and I really enjoyed it. I definitely helped my students genuinely understand the material and improve their grades. I tutored anything from algebra to calculus to physics to chemistry. My motivation to tutor is that I loved it so much in college. Finding a learning style that works for a student and seeing a concept click is exciting to me. I also really enjoy working with people and getting to know them. I made a 2030 on the SAT, and a 790 on the math section. I also passed several AP tests including calculus 1 and 2, physics, and world history.
