Palo Alto College - Current Undergrad, Chemical Engineering

After completing a business degree, I continued my education towards a bachelor of science in chemical engineering. As soon as I began to take the required science and math courses for the program, I knew that I loved math. It has so many application in the world and that really cemented the fact that pursuing a career in engineering was the right choice for me. In all my math courses, I have maintained a high grade point average and placed in the top of the class. My success in math classes led me to become a tutor to my peers. I feel that tutoring has also helped to advance my knowledge and skills while simultaneously helping to sharpen the knowledge of my peers. I believe that I am capable of making chemistry and math easy to understand for any struggling student. In addition to tutoring a variety of math and chemistry courses, I am available to help in physics and general homework support. I also provide tutoring over the summer to help keep skills fresh for the next school year. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, powerlifting, and spending time outdoors.
