Experience
I am currently an undergraduate student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University who is working towards a Bachelor's of Science in Aerospace Engineering. As my choice of degree might suggest, math and science are my favorite subjects, and I tutor math up to Calculus 1 and physics up to Physics 3 (Electricity and Magnetism). I also tutor subjects such as English, and am qualified to aid in test prep for the PSAT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests, and AP exams. My primary philosophy with teaching is to guide the student to answering the question themselves, rather than simply handing them the answer, and I accomplish this by finding creative and unique ways to explain difficult concepts. I have a fair amount of experience tutoring friends with various subjects throughout my time at high school and university. Outside of academia, my interests include playing music, basketball and soccer, cooking, and trying to learn new skills. Currently, I am only available for online tutoring, because I do not have transportation at university. In the summer months, however, I should be able to do in-person meetings with students.
