Experience

I have been a personal tutor of writing for many years, and I'm also a writer myself too. I previously tutored privately for 6 years for mostly undergraduate college students, but I also tutored at the high school level. Additionally, I have been employed by writing agencies and test prep companies before. All of these experiences help me to tutor writing. Having tutored for several years, I know how to assist students to achieve what's required of them in their classes. I'm devoted to helping students comprehend and better their writing ability. While writing tutoring is my focus, I also tutor a variety of classes in other subjects. Some of the other subjects I tutor include Anatomy, Social Studies, American History (both high school and college level), and AP Biology. I also tutor test prep such as the SAT and ACT. When not tutoring one of my hobbies includes mycology (the study of fungi). I enjoy growing an array of different types of mushrooms. In the future I hope to turn my mushroom growing into a money-making business venture. I also like reading and learning US History, and I enjoy reading fantasy literature when I have the time.
