PhD in TEFL Allameh Tabatabai University, Tehran, 2011-2015 M.A. in TEFL Arak 2005 to 2007 (the top student) B.A. in TEFL Shiraz, 2001 to 2005 I Studied Teaching English as a Foreign/Second Language for my BA, MA and PhD. For my MA thesis, I worked on students’ needs analysis, and for my PhD dissertation I worked on “nonnative and native language teachers’ perceptions of their cognition, professional identity and professional development”.
Experience
I have been teaching reading and writing for about 15 years. I have taught TOEFL for 5 years As a university teacher, I have taught linguistics courses for years. I served as a full-time English lecturer (faculty member) at Safashahr Azad University for about four years. At safashahr University, I was responsible for planning classes and teaching English to students of different majors. I have about 9 years of English teaching experience, teaching both adults and kids in all levels from beginners to advance level. I have also worked as an English language supervisor. As a supervisor, I observed classes, consulted learners, briefed teachers, coordinated classes, developed tests and curricula, held teacher training courses, hired teachers, placed learners, and checked for learners’ satisfaction. I experienced being the General Education Manager of Iranmehr Education Group. As the general manager, the human resources section acted under my direct supervision and monitoring. I also performed all the educational affaires of 17 branches of the institute, to keep and improve the quality of the services we gave our learners. For this position I needed to work under a lot of pressure and I could manage to prioritize all the duties and deliver them quite successfully. Besides, coordinating duties with other managers of Iranmehr Education Group was a must-have trait for this position. Developing noncredit educational programs was one of my responsibilities at Barg Culture House, Iranmehr Education group, and Pishro Academy. Moreover, the whole team of teacher trainers worked directly under my supervision. I am really organized and self-motivated. I am always willing to learn new things. Besides I am known for my problem solving ability.
