EducationTexas Christian University - Bachelors, Economics
ExperienceI graduated from Texas Christian University with a bachelor's degree in political science and economics. I am now working in the private sector as an account executive, where I'm in charge of employee benefits. While I was a college student, I also worked as a tutor and gave in-home lessons to pupils in middle and high school in a wide range of subjects, including English, Spanish, math, college entrance exam prep, and many more. In addition to private lessons, I also have experience working for my university's athletic department where I helped tutor athletes in economics and calculus. I'm someone who believes in the importance of education, which is why I feel that tutoring is one of the most rewarding experiences a person can have. During my time as a college student, I worked on a number of prizes in my departments, and I was even awarded the Priscilla Tate prize in research for an assignment I did in women and gender studies. When I'm not working as an educator, I like to spend my time watching college football, exercising at the gym, and participating in outdoor activities. I also enjoy photography and love to practice my picture-taking skills any chance that I get.
