I'm a tutor who understands the positive effect that educators can have on students. I used a tutor myself when I struggled with math and science as a third grader. My tutor helped improve my grades and come to enjoy science and math. By the time I was in high school, I was taking advanced math and science classes, and I studied biology in college. I went to UT - Austin for degrees in English and biology and I was also premed. It was as an undergraduate that I decided to pursue a medical career. I then studied for two years in the Caribbean at the University of Antigua. I finished my medical degree, and I have residencies coming up in the near future. Between medical school and college, I had the opportunity to work as a substitute teacher at the high school, middle school, and elementary school levels. As a medical school student, I was also a teaching assistant in anatomy and physiology courses. I'm comfortable working with students at any level and age. I love to teach, and I'm enthusiastic about the subjects that I tutor. When I have spare time, I like to go out to eat, visit museums, hang out at cafes, socialize with friends, spend time with my family, and read.
