For the last eight years, I've worked in elementary schools and middle schools as well as with high school students. I'm licensed to teach in Mississippi and Texas and tutor English, history, economics, social studies, and study skills. Experienced with ESL, I also aid in test prep for exams such as the STAAR, ASPIRE, COMPASS, ACT, GED, ISEE, and SSAT.I went to Jackson State University, where I earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Education, and am working on my PhD from Mississippi State University. My home is Houston, Texas. When I am not hard at work studying for my doctorate or tutoring, I enjoy golfing, reading, and cooking.
