Experience

I attended the University of Houston - Victoria and the University of Houston - Clear Lake. There are two main tenets related to my view of being an educator. First, I always strive to help a student develop a true love and passion for learning. Second, I have a responsibility to each of my students so that they can achieve whatever they aspire to be through academics, and grow their self-esteem along the way. Tutoring supplements classroom instruction and affords students the chance to further their growth and learning. Every person has relative weaknesses and strengths when it comes to academics. Asking questions to understand those is essential to being successful. I live in Houston. In my spare time, I like to play with my dog, Candy, and spend time with my grandchildren. I also enjoy reading, shopping, and writing in my journal. I also like to watch television, especially the Big Bang Theory and NCIS.
