Private tutor in Houston, TX
Education
I earned a Marine Science Bachelor's Degree at the University of Connecticut-Avery Point with a GPA of 3.818 in August 2015. I am now pursuing a Master's Degree in Chemical Oceanography at Florida Institute of Technology and expect to graduate 2017.
Experience
I tutored at my university for two and half years and before tutored as part as my honor's society as well as individually. I love being a tutor and being able to help someone better understand my favorite subjects. My main goal when tutoring is not just to help the student understand the subject matter but also to help them understand how to learn a subject on their own as well. Specifically I like to tailor how I tutor to the individual based on their learning styles and interests. I have taken all the math classes that I tutor as well as some higher level ones. Also since I am in Marine Science and Oceanography I have taken a fair amount of science classes including general education ones as well as the ones required for my major.
