I am a teacher and designer from Venezuela. I also call Puerto Rico home. While fluent in English, Spanish is my native language. I have benefited tremendously from being influenced by several Latin American cultures and language accents. This exposure makes my privy to a number of cultural undertones and nuances not available to the average person. You might say that I have the "inside lane." My teaching goal is to make language relevant to each student. I tutor students so that they have a solid understanding of the language and its present and historical influence in the world. Once they begin to understand it significance, it is much easier to relate to. They can better understand its worldwide applications.Language is how people connect. The better the ability to communicate, the easier it is for people to connect. Language is the medium that makes all communication possible for things like art, sports, science, and life.
