Experience

My number one focus is my students, and I am here to work one on one with you! I believe the best way to help someone learn is to cater instruction around his or her unique needs. I also do my best to be a resource to my students, and I try to help them succeed not only in our private sessions, but also on their own. I am a teacher at a magnet school, where I work with students in advanced mathematics. Before that, I was a copywriter within the pharmaceutical industry. I've worked with a variety of students, including those who need to catch up in a certain subject, as well as those who are gifted.I offer tutoring in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1-2, Middle School Math, Geometry, Trigonometry, Writing, Essay Editing, College Essays, Math, and English. I also teach gifted students as well. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English and Mathematics from Wingate University. During my time there, I focused on Composition and Geometry. When I'm not teaching, I love to be active and go on long distance runs. I also love to take road trips and discover new places, read books, and cook different foods. I currently reside in Houston, Texas.
