Experience

After graduating from the University of Virginia, I became a teacher in Houston. I have taught for the last three years, and feel ready to begin teaching outside of school. I have worked with first graders in the Houston Independent School District. I also have tutored high school and middle school students. I can help with a wide range of subjects, including English, Grammar, Writing, French, Spanish, Elementary Math, and standardized test prep for the PSAT and SAT.I believe that my experience as a teacher allows me to figure out what each student needs. After figuring that out, it is important to personalize each lesson and to help push students to reach further. I love the one-on-one interaction you get with students and being able to help as much as I can. When I am free, I like yoga, going for runs, and spending time with loved ones.
