Experience

The two years in I studied in graduate school I taught College Algebra and Statistics, I also tutored in the department's Math Lab. I also had one on one sessions with students and with graduate class mates. To my surprise I enjoyed my teaching experience, it was more rewarding than I could have anticipated. Though I may have been a mediocre teacher, I received many compliments and much gratitude for my attentive tutoring. Currently I am between jobs and find that tutoring would be the best way for me to spend my extra time.

Hobbies

I am a bit of a futurist and like seeing what is coming on the horizon of tomorrow. I am a strong proponent of fostering a person's ability to reason and think critically for them selves, mathematics is the most formal way to prepare one's mind in such an endeavor. With digitization and automation, our society is creating more data than it can handle and the ability to describe it, let alone analyze it is severely lacking. Math and statistics are the only tools that we have that will keep us from being lost in mountains of meaningless bits.
