For the past six years, I have tutored students all the way from elementary school to the graduate level. My subjects of specialty are mathematics and science. I work hard to be a friend to those I instruct, helping to guide them in more than just an academic capacity. This type of interaction prepares me to better understand the student's individual needs and helps me to construct the best course of action for delivering the material. Everyone is capable of achieving their goals, as long as they have access to a dedicated guide who works to motivate them in a positive way.I develop educational relationships by connecting with the learner first. Then, I am able to serve them with course material once I know more about their personality and how they learn. Together, the student and myself grow as a team, becoming more familiar with each other at each session. I model my method of delivery after the teaching style of the student's school teacher. This prepares the learner to utilize tools I've provided them with in the classroom and to eventually become independent. Aside from tutoring, I like to socialize, which makes this work come easy to me. I also enjoy going for a swim or playing a game of basketball every now and then.
