Experience
After receiving my degree from University of Houston Central, I went on to gain around eight years of experience teaching in a professional environment. I hold certification for fourth grade to eighth grade generalist teaching. I taught both elementary and middle school in math, science, social studies, and language arts. Along with teaching, I also work with mentoring services. I have also been a panel member at my high school alma mater for lectures and speaking engagements. I consider myself a role model for my five little nephews. I aim to constantly be trustworthy and dependable for all of my tutees. I know that students are impressionable and I try to give off the characteristics that I want them to pick up in our tutoring sessions. Being a successful tutor is about bringing intelligence, compassion, and teaching experience together, along with truly wanting to educate students. I am most comfortable when I am able to teach and guide the next generation of leaders. I am looking forward to gaining more tutees to be able to help as soon as possible. When I am done with tutoring for the day, I like to go to museums, go to parks, and spend time with my family.
