I have a Bachelor's of Music in Piano and Music Education from Berklee College of Music (3.88/4.00), a conservatory that specializes in contemporary music. I also hold a DipABRSM in Classical Piano Performance. As a result, I teach both classical and contemporary styles. I have also been an elementary general music teacher, as well as a high school choral teacher at public schools, and can tailor my classes to all ages.

- I have had eleven years of experience teaching students from ages two to adulthood. - I am a Early Childhood - Grd 12 certified music teacher by the state of Texas. Some examples of classes may be: - Classical/Jazz piano lessons for beginner/intermediate or advanced students. - Classical theory for beginning music readers to four-part chorale/counterpoint writing. - Jazz theory for beginning enthusiasts to modal harmony writing. - Ear training in both Classical and Jazz, including relative pitch, harmonic dictation, melodic diction, sight-singing. - Preparation for music performance/theory exams/auditions, including ABRSM, RCM, IBDP, IBMYP, AP, TMEA All-State. - Music exploration activities for preschool to grade 2 aged children (curriculum from John Feierabend, Zoltan Kodaly and Edwin Gordon).
