Education
I graduated with an IB Diploma in 1983 from the Jakarta International School. I then went to the University of Houston for a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering, and graduated in 1987 with a 3.0 GPA. I worked for a year as a Project Analyst, and then went back to school for a Masters of Science in Industrial Engineering I graduated in 1989 with a 3.3 GPA.
Experience
I have spent fifteen years as a Systems/Software Engineer. However, during that time, I also tutored my children and their friends. As my children grew older, I needed to be more flexible with my work hours. I then opened a tutoring centre, specialising in the core subjects of math, reading and writing. I am passionate about educating children, I can't imagine myself doing anything else.
