17 years total classroom teaching experience in special education (K-12th grade) and the elementary level. Tutored two nine year old children of the U.S. Consul, in mathematics for 3 months in 2012 in Merida, Mexico. Many ears of experience teaching in culturally and linguistically diverse classrooms. I enjoy helping people overcome learning obstacles and helping them to feel successful. I believe that learning which is tied to real life experience is most effective and meaningful.
