Hello, my name is Myra Coleman. I currently work for Houston ISD as a Math Co-Teacher/Academic Senior Tutor. I have taught Math on the middle school level for 9 years and now in high school teaching Algebra. Also, I have and work with students with learning disabilities such as, dyslexia, autism, ADHD, ADD. I also have been providing private tutoring services for 10+ years. I offer one hour and a half sessions for grade levels starting with 3rd grade to college level. I provide basic Reading, English, Writing, and some Sciences for the elementary and middle school. I also provide study and test prep for finals/exams, Math TAKS, STAAR Math and EOC, and SATs. I offer individual and group sessions, if needed, either at your home or a public place. But, mainly, I am flexible and very reasonable. I provide sessions during the day/afternoons during the summer months. Sessions in the evenings and weekends. My rate is a fixed price per session based on the grade level. So, whether an hour or two hour session is provided, the rate is the same. I love working with young people and my goal is to make sure that your child do their best to meet his/her academic abilities. I really hope I get the opportunity to work with you and your child in the future.
