I have a BA degree in Sociology. I also focused on Women and Gender Studies. I have helped students of all ages with their educational needs. I have assisted with general homework help, SAT prep, and have helped individuals better learn history, mathematics, and the Chinese language. I was grew up in Hong Kong, so I know Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese well. I love to work with students on Chinese learning because I think the culture is amazing and I think this carries through to the language as well. As a tutor, I'm honest, patient, and I like to be flexible to the needs of my students. I also like to stay positive and happy when working with each child. When my students know and understand that I believe in their abilities, they too can feel more comfortable and capable with the subject at hand. I love religion, culture, and love to learn from others. When I'm not studying or teaching, I like to spend time trying new foods, attending cultural shows, and I also enjoy working on art projects. Working on projects makes me feel accomplished.I'm ready to help you with your educational needs. I will encourage you to do your very best.
