I am a retired engineer with forty years’ experience in manned spaceflight. It was the most exciting and rewarding job I could have hoped for. Math was the vocabulary used by my colleagues and I to make history. Part of my job was to mentor young engineers and teach them what they need to know to participate in that adventure. The future will be made by those that speak math. I want to invest in that future.
