Education

I have just completed my PhD in History from University College London. I also have an MA in European History with Distinction and a BA in History and English Literature Magna Cum Laude from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia. I am a certified teacher in History, Social Studies Composite, and English Language Arts and Reading. While I currently teach in public school, I was educated in a private school so I have a broad perspective.

Experience

By day I am an AP English Teacher in HISD. I have seven years of tutoring experience in the humanities. I also worked as a writing and public speaking tutor. Furthermore, I taught and lectured at two top London universities during my PhD. I have both an MA and a PhD in History so can help with English and Social Studies at any level.

I have plenty of more modern interests as well. I enjoy cooking, catching up on my favorite tv shows, and spending time with my family and friends.
