I have over a year of experience as a tutor and I am currently a 5th grade Math and Science teacher at Tipps Elementary. I am certified to teach 4th-8th grade, all subjects. In addition, I am ESL certified and have experience working with english-language-learners. I am an enthusiastic and positive tutor who focuses on building confidence in addition to academic skills. I believe in hard work and self-discipline, but strongly feel that hard work should be rewarded. My tutoring experiences have included working with students with ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia. I am a lifelong learner and see myself as a bit of a modern day Renaissance Man! I am an avid reader and write as a hobby. I enjoy playing soccer and am on a softball team with friends.I also enjoy visiting the Houston Zoo and the many Fine Arts museums around town. My current "Big Goal" is to complete a half-marathon with my fiancée by September!
