Private tutor in Houston, TX

Education

I attended Saint Edward's University for three years and received a BA in Global Studies. Having graduated early, I moved on to the next thing and tried my hand at a Masters of Arts in Teaching from the Relay Graduate School of Education. Things did not turn out as I had hoped and I discontinued the program in order to find something more suitable to my style.

Experience

Have been tutoring for almost six years, ever since I started in college. I spent the last two years teaching 6th Math, Algebra 1, and Algebra 2 content. I tutored after school in all of those related subjects. I want to tutor because I left my teaching job to take some time to myself but I miss being involved with students. I have received the following: AP US History-4 AP Spanish-5 AP Calculus-4 AP English Literature-3 AP English Language-3 SAT (old version)-1820

Hobbies

More often than not, you can find me trying to organize a small get together for friends as I love cooking for people. In addition, I enjoy reading books about politics and religion because I love discussing the spectrum of politics and the historical background of religious texts. I like to cuddle up with my dogs frequently and put faces on them with a Snapchat filer.
