Experience
I have many years of tutoring experience, both in a classical academic and laboratory setting. During my undergraduate years at the University of Houston, I was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and, during that time, I tutored high school students in Algebra and Chemistry. As a graduate student, I mentored high school and college students in the laboratory to heighten critical thinking skills about biological concepts. My many years in upper-level education have provided a strong foundation in the areas of Math and Science while also enhancing my written and verbal communication skills. My desire is to ultimately help students gain confidence in their studies so that they can pursue their long-term academic goals.
