I graduated magna cum laude with my high school diploma from Cypress Falls High School in 2012. I received several honors and academic achievements in all the core subjects. I am currently enrolled at the University of Houston as a math major with a 4.00 GPA. I enjoy involving myself in community service opportunities as well as tutor my fellow classmates.
Experience
I am an active volunteer at CHAMP Tutoring to tutor students from high-risk schools. I received over a 1700 on my SAT on the first attempt. I would love to be a tutor to gain experience in order to become a teacher. I am also enrolled in the TeachHouston program at the University of Houston to better enrich my path to becoming a well-rounded teacher. Therefore I have already had first-hand experience with creating lesson plans, commanding a classroom and devising new and fun activities for my students.

Hobbies
I am a studious college student, however in my spare time I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. In the public sphere, I enjoy doing community service at my university as well as participating in events at my church. I have two younger siblings so I am well equipped and prepared to handle students of various ages at different levels. I firmly believe in the mental capability all students possess and with the right attitude any child can and will succeed.
