I learned how to read at the age of two by my mother, who was a teacher and my grandmother, who was a teacher/librarian. I grew up on a cotton farm but I was able to travel to many different countries and continents and experience many adventures through the books I read and in my writing about my adventures. I am instilling that love of reading and writing with my at-risk students where I teach and that is what I will bring to your children that I tutor.
