Teach For America Houston Corps 2010 Taught 6-8th grade science from 2010-2014 I love teaching and assisting in the learning process, but the traditional classroom experience did not match my life goals. Tutoring would allow me to stay keen on teaching without the need for classroom management. Currently, I am a staff volunteer at Houston Makerspace helping to bring the Makerspace movement to Houston and taking classes in a plethora of art spaces. In college, I worked for the K-state IT help desk for five years as a lead consultant.
