Experience

As a tutor, I help students identify their unique strengths and talents, and then help students build that up to help them find success. Every student is different, and each student should be encouraged to find their own path to self-sufficient learning. I also act as a mentor and role model for my students, and I encourage them to set high goals and to participate in class and extracurricular activities. I want my students to be successful citizens who set goals for themselves and then achieve them. I can tutor students in elementary and middle school level math, English, reading, essay writing, and test preparation for the LSAT, ISEE, HSPT, and other standardized exams. When I have free time, I like to run long distances, tap dance, and read John Grisham novels. I also enjoy movie trivia.
