I recently graduated from California Baptist University with a B.S. in Biology, where I concentrated on pre-med. I am in the process of applying to a Ph.D. program in biomedical science. Ever since I was in the sixth grade, I have been tutoring in some fashion. In my second year at college, I tutored at a student center on campus that helped students achieve success academically. In addition, I helped high school and college students develop a greater understanding of science and French.I am able to tutor French, from the beginner's level up until level four. I have experience teaching a variety of other subjects, including biology, chemistry, mathematics, anatomy, microbiology, and life science. Of all the subjects I have tutored, I especially enjoyed teaching physiology. I am thrilled to help students develop an understanding of difficult concepts and challenging material. Along with teaching the course material, I try to boost my students' confidence and help them become more independent. My goal is to prepare them to be able to research and study independently, and I encourage this through asking thought-provoking questions.Outside of the classroom, I enjoy singing, knitting various objects, and drawing pictures. I have a three-year-old nephew who I like to spend my time with.
