Experience
I have a bachelor's degree in History from LSU with an emphasis in Secondary Education and a master's in Educational Psychology that I obtained at the University of Houston. I also plan to start working toward an International Business degree. I have a lot of experience in public and charter schools, teaching Geography, History, and AP classes, and I have also tutored Math and test preparation while working with nonprofit learning centers. In addition to those subjects, I am comfortable teaching Reading, Writing, Psychology, and subjects all across the Social Studies spectrum. I have a passion for learning and do my best to build that same feeling in the students I tutor. I think the key to my teaching is developing personal connections with the students so that I can understand what drives them and figure out the best ways to teach each of them individually. In my free time I enjoy going home to Louisiana to visit family and attend football games. I can also often be found running, doing yoga, working with animals, dancing, and discovering new music.
