I graduated from Mercer University with a bachelor's degree in molecular biology and biochemistry. Since then, I've been preparing myself for entrance into a physician assistant program and working as a tutor along the way. If there's one thing that I'm passionate about, it's medicine and life sciences. I love teaching eager students about the complexities of the human body so that I can impart some of my knowledge and wisdom onto them in the hopes of inspiring them to grow up and become doctors, nurses, and physician assistants. Along with biology-related subjects, I also have experience tutoring high school students in reading, writing, math, and the Latin language. I am a firm believer that teaching with the student-centered method is the best way to help students understand challenging material. My goal isn't just to help them memorize answers for their next upcoming test, I also want them to know how to think like an academic and be able to use their knowledge when out in the world. There's nothing greater than inspiring students to become independent learners. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I also like to spend time outdoors. My favorite hobbies include hiking, participating in team sports, and playing disc golf with my friends.
