I am a tutor and a teacher with over five years of academic experience. I use an individualized approach to tutoring which fosters confidence in students. My goal is not only to teach, but also to motivate the students that I tutor. I sharpened my teaching skills at Arkansas State University as a graduate assistant. I specialize in AP English Language and Composition, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, Research Methods, Public Speaking, Reading, and Writing. I can also help with post-secondary school preparation by tutoring in ACT English and helping seniors to prepare their college applications and essays. I have taught a Career Development course as well, so I can assist students that may need a bit of guidance as far as what path to take for various professions.At the moment, I'm attending Our Lady of the Lake University-Houston in pursuit of my Doctorate in Leadership Studies (Business). I've already earned my Master of Arts in English. When I'm not tutoring or teaching, I spend quality time with my family, take music lessons, and visit museums. I stay active by working out and participating in dance classes.
