I earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from St. Gregory's University and more recently a medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston. I love both Chemistry and Biology and tutored Science and Math during my time as an undergrad. These passions are what directed me into the field of health and sparked my passion for understanding how the human body operates and what can be done to improve it. One of my main strategies as a teacher is to find out how I can relate the material to each individual I work with. No two students learn the exact same way because the brain of everyone is different, but I think everyone is able to learn what they need if the lesson is explained in a way that makes sense to them. Something as simple as using a different word can make all the difference, and I strive to personalize my tutoring in order to best get the material across. I try to spend as much of my free time as possible outside experiencing nature. I also enjoy fencing, and I am a huge soccer fan.
