Florida International University - BA, Spanish , University of Albany SUNY - MA, Latin American and Caribbean Studies

I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish that I earned at Florida International University. I then went on to earn my master's degree in Latin American and Caribbean studies at the University of Albany. I enjoy teaching language, and I have experience tutoring math and English to children in ELL and ESL programs. These children were in grades K-9. In addition to my tutoring experience, I also worked for 3 years as a researcher for various educational projects. Subjects I tutor include elementary math, middle school math, Spanish 1 through 4, reading, phonics, grammar and mechanics, pre-algebra, and English. I also enjoy helping students prepare for standardized tests, including the HSPT, ISEE, and SSAT. Of course, I am always willing to help ESL students. When not tutoring, I enjoy sewing, exercising, and watching foreign films.
