I'm attending Rice University to earn my bachelor's degree in computer engineering. I have experience tutoring math for family members, assisting in laboratories on campus, and grading students in a computer engineering course at Rice. These experiences help me realize how much I enjoy tutoring, and how much I enjoy helping others to find success. My tutoring specialties are chemistry, physics, and math, and my favorite subjects are computer science and math. I also really enjoy hardware design, as it presents unique challenges in engineering, logic, and electricity. When I tutor students, I don't just want them to learn the subject we're studying. Instead, I want to help them develop critical thinking skills and confidence so they can become self-sufficient learners and be successful today and in the future. In addition to science, math, and computer science, I also can help students learn Arabic or I can help them prepare for standardized tests like AP exams, SAT subject tests, the SAT, the PSAT, and others. When I have free time, I like to read nonfiction, read scientific journals, run, travel, and watch basketball.
