Experience
Part of what I love most about teaching and tutoring is being afforded the opportunity to meet interesting, unique students and form strong bonds with them. It is through this approach that I am able to instill trust in our relationship, which aids immensely with helping students to learn and grow. I am an alumna of the University of Dallas, and it was during my time at this educational institution that I was able to spend an entire semester studying abroad in Rome. After graduation, I had my first taste of teaching when I spent seven months as a teacher's assistant in France. After this experience, I was extremely enthusiastic about pursuing a career in education. Upon my return from France, I became a French teacher in public schools, and I have happily spent the last five years as a teacher. In addition, I have also spent time teaching ESL students at a local community college. In addition to ESL, I specialize in teaching French and Spanish. My hobbies include getting to know the families of my students, playing the piano, cooking, singing, and learning even more new and interesting languages.
