I am a self-motivated individual with a desire to positively affect the world around me, and most especially the youth of the world. After attending Cinco Ranch High School, and a brief stint at Seton Hall University, I completed my degree at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Because of my extensive background with helping others via tutoring, beginning when I was very young with my school peers, I am able to help students with a wide variety of subjects by employing a wide variety of methods, both conventional and unconventional. My desire when teaching is to create a fun environment that is stimulating to young minds, and not just limited to flash cards and traditional teaching methods, as I find these to be lacking in the ability to effectively convey knowledge. A long history of travel and living abroad has given me the experience necessary to empathize and reach students from a wide range of backgrounds. Countries which I have lived in the past include China, Korea, Poland, and Spain. I am also a very athletic person and enjoy coaching track and field for young people during the summers, further cementing my ability to effectively lead and instruct young minds. The subjects which I specialize in include arithmetic, Spanish levels 1 through 4, elementary and middle school math, reading, Algebra, test prep, and Spanish cultural studies. I am based out of Richmond, Texas.
