I tutor at various levels of math, physics, chemistry, biology, and Spanish. My teaching style has evolved to be adaptable; I try to get to know my students well so I can meet whatever need that is pressing. For example, some learn visually while others retain more information by reading through the material several times. Verbal communication helps others retain content better. I am passionate about teaching and the fact that every student is a unique individual. Striving to help as much as I can, it's gratifying to see any aged student gain the confidence needed to excel in their strongest and weakest subjects, and reach their goals. From young students to those beginning college, I can help them not just pursue their goals but exceed them! I consider tutoring a significant part of my life because I can make a difference. In May 2011, I obtained my B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Houston and recently completed my doctorate in the field. Over the years I've tutored people from elementary school age through their college years.Aside from tutoring in many different subjects, I pursue other interests in my spare time. These include reading, drawing, dancing, and traveling.
