Private tutor in Houston, TX

University of Houston-Clear Lake - BS, Mathematics

I'm attending the University of Houston-Clear Lake for my bachelor's degree in math. I'm also pursuing teaching certification for high school and middle school. Currently I am student teaching as well. My favorite subject in math is algebra, but I also like tutoring students calculus, geometry, and other math courses. I can also help students learn physics. I know a lot of students don't like math, and they may think it's too hard. When I work with students I'm enthusiastic about math and I explain why it's important and how it works. This helps students better understand math topics and keeps them engaged. I love to help others, and I want them to succeed. In my free time, I like to get outside, listen to music, paint, and read.
