Rice University - BA, Political Science , Rice University - MAT, Teaching

I spent five years in the United States Navy. I went to Rice University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in political science and government. I will be heading back to Rice to earn my master's degree in teaching. My favorite subject is math, but I also enjoy government, history, and physics. When I work with students, I focus on an effective and fun teaching style that is student centered. Every session is a little bit different, just like my students. I'm looking forward to tutoring algebra one, algebra two, geometry, pre-calculus, physics, history, government, trigonometry, high school and college level physics, and college algebra among others. I can also help students prepare for standardized tests and admissions exams. In my free time, I like to read, play the violin, and golf.
