I have student taught for 2.25 years in Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. I've taught and managed my own classroom for grades 2 and 4 for 1.25 years. Also, I taught the fundamentals of reading one on one to students of various for a worldwide reading clinic called Lindamood Bell. I did that for 6 months. I have intermittently tutored undergraduate students and graduate students in writing their essays. I'm skilled at reading an essay prompt and breaking it down into addressable components. When I was pursuing my Bachelor's in Philosophy at UC Berkeley, I was constantly told that I needed to be more precise. I didn't know how to do that at the time until I sought out graduate students from my department and paid them to help me figure out how to improve my writing. Now, my students will reap those same benefits. That is a summary of my experience. If you or someone you know wants tutoring in reading or writing for K through University or for elementary or middle school math, I will be of great assistance to you. From my teaching experience, I've learned that it is important to set objectives in order to determine whether we are making progress. Otherwise, we may never know.
