My experiences that are relevant to tutoring: - I worked for the test prep company Knewton, Inc., writing GMAT practice test questions and explanations (2008, NY, NY). - I was a paid science writing intern at Cancer Research Institute and Psychology Today magazine (2007, NY, NY). - I volunteered as a writing tutor with the nonprofit organization 826 NYC (2007-2009, NY, NY). - I taught 7th grade math, science, and social studies with Teach For America (2006, Chicago, IL). - I worked as a paid writing tutor at Middlebury College's writing center (2005, Middlebury, VT).
